Environmental headshots
Environmental headshots put the actor in a context that invites attention. In this recent shot of actor Randall Oliver we wanted to put him in a background that reinforced his western cowboy look. What you see here is a composite. Mr. Oliver was photographed in our studio against a green screen, was extracted from the original background and placed in the background you see here. The original background shot (in Albuquerque’s Old Town) was a normal sharp image, but with some gaussian blur added to make this image. The background colors and the direction of the lighting compliment the studio shot.
Using this technique, we don’t worry about the weather, lighting conditions or distractions.
